The silicone heads are dishwasher safe and solid beechwood handles detach for cleaning. Silicone heads are dishwasher safe. Remove from wooden handle before placing in dishwasher. Before initial use, wash with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Silicone heads are heat safe to 450°F
