What's the Best Way to Store Thyme?

Since thyme is a hardy herb, they can be stored in the refrigerator; keep them dry in the clamshell packaging or wrap the stems in a damp paper towel inside a plastic bag. They will last 1-2 weeks in the fridge but can last longer if you change the paper towel every few days and/or remove any wilted pieces. You can also freeze thyme leaves in ice cube trays (add water) or freeze entire thyme stems in plastic freezer bags.
