Funko Pop! Deluxe: Mandalorian - the Child (Grogu) Using the Force (Lights and Sounds)
Carregando, aguarde...
Is Grogu Yoda? According to the events of "The Mandalorian" so far, Grogu and Yoda are not the same character. They are simply from the same species. The name of this species has never been revealed since "Star Wars" creator George Lucas wanted to give Yoda a sense of mystery. - Grogu appears to be the youngest known member of Yoda's species. He is only 50 years old, and he is still developmentally an infant. For the whole first season of The Mandalorian™, they referred to him only as the Child. It seems that the species is, for whatever reason, quite slow to age.
Highlights
- With telekinesis being one of the go-to Jedi abilities, Grogu has used it several times since then, including when he tried to curb his famous hunger pangs with frogs in The Book of Boba Fett, or to pick up some snacks in Greef Karga's office.
- Grogu is incredibly Force-sensitive. So much so that in order to stay safe while on the run, he's used his Force abilities to cloak his true power. That is why, by dampening his potential, other Force-sensitives could not locate him for some time.
- Beyond the Force powers exhibited by his species, it is also possible that Grogu specifically is of special importance to the Jedi Order. The Mandalorian is seeing him begin to embrace both Jedi and Mandalorian teachings, something that may give him a unique position in the galaxy.
- Luke Skywalker trained Grogu in the ways of the Force, but gave him a choice: become a Jedi or return to Din Djarin to become a Mandalorian. The orphan chose the latter and accompanied Din Djarin on his new adventures in the galaxy far, far away. At the end of season 3, however, he was formally adopted by Mando.
