From very coarse for a French press to extra fine for espresso and everything in between, whole bean coffee retains flavor and freshness and allows you to choose the perfect grind for any brewing method. For drip coffee, they recommend a 1:18 coffee-to-water ratio (1 gram of coffee for every 18 grams of water) to ensure peak extraction and flavor development. For espresso, it's 18 grams of coffee to make 45 grams of espresso.

What's the Difference Between Roasts?

Light roasts usually have more acidity and can sometimes have notes of grass or vegetables. Dark roasts tend to have more body, bitterness and notes of smoke. A properly done medium roast allows each coffees character to shine through while enhancing the natural sweetness.
