About the Authors
Marilyn Easton has been an author and editor for more than 10 years. Marilyn currently lives in Los Angeles, CA, with her spouse, two dogs, and one cat.
Meredith Rusu is a children’s book author and editor who specializes in titles based on television and movies. She has written more than 100 books for kids from preschool to young adult. In addition, under the pen name Ada Hopper, she is the author of The DATA Set chapter book series. Meredith lives in New Jersey with her husband and two young sons.
About the Illustrators
Adam Devaney has enjoyed working as an illustrator for the the past 15 years. With more than 100 children’s books published, he still enjoys the challenges that illustrating brings in creating new properties for publication. Adam received his formal art training at the Laguna Art Institute in Laguna Beach, California. He also enjoys working in the movie industry as a production designer and editor. He has received many awards, including an Emmy, for his work in film.
Jason Fruchter is a contracted freelance illustrator and animator for several media companies and book publishers. He began his career as an animator and illustrator after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1992. He creates children's book illustrations based on popular kid's TV properties and 2D animation for broadcast, games, apps, and interactive kiosks. In addition to his contracted work, Jason develops original properties for kids' media. In his downtime, he enjoys biking around Elliot Bay near his home in Seattle, WA, and drawing caricatures. He’s currently working on a series of caricatures of the Presidents of the United States.
Maurizio Campidelli is an illustrator based in Rimini, Italy. After working as an art director, he started his own illustration studio and collaborates with publishers, graphic design studios, and advertising agencies. Using both traditional and digital art techniques, Campidelli is proficient in a variety of styles from realistic illustrations to comic books. His work has been featured in Italy and France. He is represented by Advocate Art.
